Stop Poisoning Pollinators & People!

Contact your Member of Parliament and Prime Minister Carney today to stop the authorization of Health Canada banned pesticides!

As insects and birds continue to decline, Canada should be reducing harmful pesticides—not bringing them back. Add your voice today.

About this
initiative

Bill C-30 Pest Control Products Act1 allows Ministers in the government to override scientific decisions on the use of pesticides previously banned by Health Canada.

This marks the most significant setback in Canadian pesticide regulation in over a generation, jeopardizing environmental safety, wildlife, and human health.

đź—™ Grassland birds are down 67% since 19702
đź—™ Swallows and swifts are down 43% since 19702

Both of these groups of birds rely on insects as their main food source. When the insects are poisoned, the birds starve.

These toxic chemicals don't stay in the fields. When banned pesticides are re-approved, they wash into our soil, seep into our shared drinking water, and leave chemical residues on the produce we buy.
